Itinerary:

D1: Urumqi

Urumqi arrival, transfer to hotel.
Overnight: Urumqi

D2: Urumqi – Sayram Lake

Activities: After breakfast, go to Sayram Lake, which is called the “Blessing Water”, “the last tear of the Atlantic Ocean” and “Plateau Pearl”.
Photography: Shoot the mountains and lakes, reflection of snow-capped mountains, grassland yurts, grassland pastures and leisurely grazing scene of cattle and sheep in the grassland and sunset of Sayram Lake.
Overnight: Sayram Lake

D3: Sayram Lake – Huocheng County – Yining

Activities: Get up early to shoot dawn of Sayram Lake, and then pass through Guozigou(Tarchi Daban), which is Genghis Khan’s road of western expedition to shoot Guozigou Bridge. Next, go to Khorgas Port, and then travel to Huocheng County, which is called Eastern Provence. After shooting, travel to Yining.

D4: Yining – Nalati Town

Activities: Ride to the Nalati Grassland, and arrive at Nalati Town in the night.

D5: Nalati Town – Bayanbulak

Activities: After breakfast, go to Xinjiang’s Nalati Grassland, which is “one of the world’s four major grasslands”. And then go to Bayanbulak Grassland, which is “China’s second largest grassland”. The famous “Swan Lake” is the only swan nature reserve in China.

D6: Bayanbulak – Kuche Grand Canyon

Activities: Get up early to shoot dawn of Bayanbulak Wetland Grassland, and then drive to Kuqa County. In the afternoon, arrive in Kuche Grand Canyon.
Photography: shoot blooming flowers along the way, the different size of vauclusian spring, and scenery of Tianshan Snow Mountain.
Overnight: Kuqa County

D7: Kuqa County – Kashgar

Activities: Shoot Gobi, desert scenery, folk customs of Uygur and Yadan landform along the way..

D8: Kashgar – Lake Karakuri – Tashkurghan

Activities: After breakfast, go to shoot Lake Karakuri, Tajik shepherds, flock of herds, scenery of Pamir Plateau, Kongur Tagh(Kongur Tiube) and Muztagh Ata(Muztagata), which is the father of the ice mountain.

D9: Tashkurgan – Kashgar

Activities: In Uygur, Tashkurgan means “stone city”. Stone City is one of the important historical marks on the Silk Road and the most significant cultural symbol of the Pamir Plateau.

D10: Kashgar

Activities: Free shoot in Kashgar all day.
Photography: Id Kah Mosque, which is the symbol of Kashgar and is also China’s largest Islamic monastery. As well as Kashgar Grand Bazaar, and Abakh Hoja Tomb.

D11: Kashgar – Hotan Prefecture(Hetian)

Activities: travel by Yecheng (Kargilik) County, Zepu (Poskam) County, Yengisar County and Shule County.
Photography: Shoot scenery along the way, Uygur’s folk custom, jade trading market in Hotan Prefecture(Hetian) and grand Bazaar.

D12: Hotan Prefecture(Hetian) – Minfeng County

Activities: Shoot desert scenery, unique Uighur people of Yutian County and grand bazaar.
Photography: Ethnic customs, the original ecological environment and honest ethnic minorities.

D13: Minfeng County – Korla( Kuerle)

Activities: Across the Desert Highway of Taklimakan Desert.

D14: Korla( Kuerle) – Urumqi

Activities: Shoot Gobi scenery, quicksand mountain of dry ditch, wind power stations and other scenery along the way.
