Summary:

“If you do not come to Yili, you will never know the beauty of Xinjiang.” The beauty of Yili is shocking, and Yili grassland is extremely brilliant in spring! Pure and blue lake quietly reflects the white snow mountains, nearly 30,000 livestock graze here, which looks like numerous white clouds swimming in the grassland and roaring in wildness. Yili was named by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization as one of “the world’s great ten mountain grasslands”.

Highlights:

Itinerary

Day 1: Urumqi

Urumqi arrival, transfer to hotel.
Overnight: Urumqi

Day 2: Urumqi – (250km) – Kuitun

Activities: Get up early to drive to Kuitun, and then go to shoot Kuitun Grand Canyon.

Day 3: Kuitun – (300km) – Sayram Lake – (85km) – Qingshuihe Town

Activities: Get up early to travel to Sayram Lake for shooting.

Day 4: Qingshuihe Town – (280km) – Xinyuan (Künes) County

Activities: Get up early to drive to Xinyuan (Künes) County to shoot ‘Apricot Valley’.

Day 5: Xinyuan County

Activities: After breakfast, travel to Tuergen Township, shoot all day and then return to Xinyuan (Künes) County.

Day 6: Xinyuan (Künes) County – (270km) – Qingshuihe Town

Activities: Get up early to go to ‘Apricot Valley’, and then ride back to Qingshuihe Town.

Day 7: Qingshuihe Town – (280km) – Jinghe County

Activities: After breakfast, travel to Daxigou Township to shoot and in the afternoon drive to Jinghe County.

Day 8: Jinghe County – (430km) – Urumqi

Activities: In the morning, ride back to Urumqi with the end of the happy photography tour.
