Day01 Arrival in Beijing

Airport pick-up & airport-hotel transfer.

Day02 Beijing

Tiananmen Square：”Gate of Heavenly Peace” , a gate in the wall of the Imperial City, was built in 1415 during the Ming dynasty.
Forbidden City：The former seat of Imperial Chinese Dragon Throne from the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty.

Temple of Heaven: The Temple of Heaven was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998. The complex was visited by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest.

Day03 Beijing

Badaling Great Wall：the site of the most visited section of the Great Wall of China, approximately 80 kilometres (50 mi) northwest of urban Beijing city in Yanqing District.
Sacred Way：A collection of mausoleums built by the emperors of the Ming dynasty of China.
Bird’s Nest (drive by)：officially the National Stadium, was jointly designed by architects Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron of Herzog & de Meuron, project architect Stefan Marbach, artist Ai Weiwei, and CADG which was led by chief architect Li Xinggang.

Day04 Beijing – Xian

Summer Palace： a vast ensemble of lakes, gardens and palaces in Beijing.
A la carte lunch.
Hutong visit:  a type of narrow streets or alleys, commonly associated with northern Chinese cities.
Fly to Xian. Airport-hotel transfer.

Day05 Xian

Terracotta Warriors:  Funerary art buried with the emperor in 210–209 BCE and whose purpose was to protect the emperor in his afterlife.A local family visit, Home-cooked lunch.
Xian Museum and Small Wild Goose Pagoda: During the Tang Dynasty, the Small Wild Goose Pagoda stood across a street from its mother temple, the Dajianfu Temple. Pilgrims brought sacred Buddhist writings to the temple and pagoda from India, as the temple was one of the main centers in Chang’an for translating Buddhist texts.
Tang Dynasty Show with dumpling dinner: performing ancient life in Tang dynasty by singing and dancing.

Day06 Xian – Shanghai

City Wall: It exhibits the “complete features of the rampart architecture of feudal society”. It is situated at the end of the ancient Silk Road.

Provincial History Museum: one of the first huge state museums with modern facilities in China and one of the largest.

Day07 Shanghai

Shanghai Museum: . The Shanghai Museum houses several items of national importance, including one of three extant specimens of a “transparent” bronze mirror from the Han Dynasty.
Yuyuan Garden: Garden of Happiness is an extensive Chinese garden located beside the City God Temple.
A la carte lunch.

Day08 Shanghai – Suzhou – Shanghai

Land transfer to Suzhou.
Garden of the Master of the Nets: It is recognized with other classical Suzhou gardens as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The garden demonstrates Chinese garden designers’ adept skills for synthesizing art, nature, and architecture to create unique metaphysical masterpieces.
Tiger Hill:  It is a tourist destination and is known for its natural environment and historic sites. The hill is so named because it is said to look like a crouching tiger.
Humble Administrator’s Garden: one of the most famous of the gardens of Suzhou.  it is the largest garden in Suzhou and is considered by some to be the finest garden in all of southern China.

Day09 Departure from Shanghai

Hotel-airport transfer is on your own arrangement. A pleasant trip home!
