Day 1 Arrival in ChongQing

Pick up from airport and private transfer to hotel.

Have a good rest today.

Day 2 Orphanage visit

A typical process of orphanage visit: Your family will be welcome by firecracker ceremony with hanging red banner(Written sentence meaning welcome for home return visit), then you will have a conversation with orphanage director and staff, after that it’s a limited visit of facilities the SWI and view the file of your child(if possible). Having lunch with orphanage director and staff, in the afternoon you will visit the “finding spot” of your child or doing the city sightseeing.

Please note that process of each orphanage is different, actually there is no standard process.

So activities of a typical orphanage visit could be:

• Visit facilities and surroundings of the Orphanage(SWI)
• View profile of your Child
• Meet the Nurse/Nanny of your child
• Meet the foster mother or family
• Conversation or with orphanage director and staff
• Meal with orphanage director and staff
• Visit the “finding spot”
• Gifts to orphanage directors, caregivers, foster families and children
• Donate to the orphanage

More and more chinese orphanages are now open to adoptive families for return visiting, but each province is different and has different regulations, No single person can 100% guarantee the permission to visit an orphanage. so please check with your Travel Advisor beforehand to see what you should expect when visiting your child’s orphanage.

Day 3 sightseeing visit

Hongyadong: The original Hongyadong enjoys a history of over 2,300 years. It is the witness of the history and culture of the Chongqing city and it is the symbol of the city spirit. Hongyadong is a comprehensive scenic site located at the waterfront area where Yangtze River and the Jialing River meet. Featured with the unique wooden stilted house group of the ancient Chongqing City and the beautiful river view, Hongyadong has become the most representative attraction of the Chongqing City.

Ciqikou: The Ciqikou Ancient Town (old name Longyin Town) is located 14 kilometers to the west of Chongqing city. It used to be a very important water and land communication hub in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911 A.D). Its history can be traced back for more than 1700 years.

Day 4 sightseeing visit

Wulong Karst Landscape: Wulong becomes known to foreign tourists due to Michael Bay’s hit movie – Transformers: Age of Extinction, which directly shows the majesty beauty of the Three Natural Bridges in Wulong. Besides the famous movie-site, other interesting nature objects are also in this area, like Furong Cave, Longshuixia Gap and Fairy Mountain.

Day 5 Departure from ChongQing

Private transfer to Airport or Train station
