TianYi Pavilion

Tianyi Pavilion is the oldest private library in existence in China. Tianyi Pavilion was built in 1561 in the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644). The Tianyi Pavilion is not only world famous for its wide collection of books, but also for its unique architecture and Elegant landscape. The Tianyi Pavilion has a flush gable roof, and is six bays wide and deep, with a corridor extended from the front to the back. In front of the pavilion is a pond that stores water for fireproof. Baoguo Temple

Baoguo Temple is seated on the mountainside of Lingshan Mountain, about 15 km (9 mi) away from downtown. As a cultural relic spot under state-level protection, it was initially established in the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220) and rebuilt and Expanded in later dynasties. The present Baoguo Temple is a mixture of constructions made by various dynasties.

Tianfeng Pagoda

The Tianfeng Pagoda is situated in the centre of Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. With a height of about 51 meters (167 feet), this hexagonal building is a landmark and the tallest ancient structure in the city. It appears as a seven-storey tower. With another seven stories underground and is renowned for its long history, architectural value and ancient artifacts.
The tower was first built in 695 in the Tang Dynasty (618-907); hence it is also known as the Tang Pagoda. Xikou-Tengtou Tourist Area

Xikou and Tengtou were originally two separate scenic areas in Fenghua of Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. In 2003, they were combined into one. Hemudu Culture Relics

The culture may be divided into an early and late phases, before and after 4000 BC respectively. The site at Hemudu, 22 km north-west of Ningbo, was discovered in 1973. Hemudu sites were also discovered on the islands of Zhoushan. Hemudu are Said to have differed physical from inhabitants of the Yellow River sites to the north. Scholars view the Hemudu Culture as a source of the proto-Austronesian cultures.

Xiangshan Film and Television City

It is located in the town of Xinqiao, the city of Ningbo, Xiangshan County, Zhejiang Province, and is honored as one of China’s top ten film bases and designated movie and TV shooting bases in China.

Shipu Ancient Fishing Port
