Changzhou is a prefecture-level city in southern Jiangsu province of China. It was previously known as Yanling, Lanling, Jinling, and Wujin. Located on the southern bank of the Yangtze River, Changzhou borders the provincial capital of Nanjing to the west, Zhenjiang to the northwest, Wuxi to the east, and the province of Zhejiang to the south. Changzhou is located in the highly developed Yangtze Delta region of China extending from Shanghai going northwest. The population of Changzhou city was 4,592,431 at the 2010 census, and its metropolitan area population was 12.4 million.

There is an airport shuttle between the airport terminal and Changzhou Airport. The urban terminal building is located at No. 260 Tongjiang South Road, Changzhou Civil Aviation Service Center. The departure time is from 5:50 to 20:00, and 10 classes a day.

The Ruins of Yancheng
It comprises the remains of a walled city located in the Wujin district of Changzhou that was founded over 3000 years ago at the beginning of the Western Zhou dynasty. The earliest record of a settlement on the site of modern Changzhou is as a commandery founded in 221 Bc at the beginning of the Qin Dynasty.

HongMei Park

Dong Po Park
A diminutive but pretty park named after Song dynasty, poet, artist and gardener, Su Dong Po – who died in Changzhou. One side of the park runs against the Grand Canal and the others sides by smaller canals, giving the impression of being on an Island. A second islet connected by an arching bridge has a large DongPo academy hall, fronted by a statue of the man himself, makes a good place to watch boats run on the Grand Canal. In the main garden is the remains of an imperial palace Built for a visit Emperor QianLong, though what remains can be seen really are very few, except for the foundations and a few fragments of carved stone.

Maoshan Mountain
