Dabie Mountains

The Dabie Mountains are a huge mountain range located where the borders of the three provinces of Anhui, Henan, and Hubei meet. The mountain elevation has a range of some 5,000 feet (1,524 meters). There are three main peaks, ie Baima Peak, Duoyun Peak (Tiantangzhai) and Tianhe Peak, which resemble the three legs of a tripod. Currently, Baima Peak area in Huoshan County, Lu’an City of Anhui Province has been developed as a national geological park and is now a popular tourist destination.

Featured for the rich magnificent waterfalls, amazing mountain peaks, dense woods and rare animals, Tiantangzhai Scenic Area (Heavenly Village) is the second highest peak of Dabie Mountains. Located in Jinzhai, Lu’an, Anhui Province, it is an interesting place to Enjoy the beauty of nature and breathe fresh air. On the mountain are living 185 kinds of animals, with more than 100 waterfalls as well as hundreds of peculiar mountain peaks and rocks scattered.
