Destination sketch

Quzhou belongs to the Yue State before and in the Spring and Autumn Period (770BC-476). In the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220), the government set up Xin’an Shire, which was the original form of Quzhou. In 1949 , the city was liberated and it became a prefecture-level one in 1985. In 1994, the city got its honor of ‘National-level Historical and Cultural City’ and in 2006, it was listed into one of the ‘China Top Tourist City ‘.

Nanzong Confucius Temple

Mt. Jianglang

It is a mountain in Jiangshan, Zhejiang, China. Three peaks from north to south make its recognizable “river-shaped” arrangement, as follows: Lang Feng, Ya Feng and Ling Feng. Lang Feng has elevation of 816.8 m (2,680 ft) .

Longyou Grottoes

The Longyou Grottoes are a series of at least 24 large artificial sandstone caverns located inside Phoenix Hill, just north of the centre of Longyou on the north bank of the Qu River. They are thought to date to a period before the creation of the Qin Dynasty In 212 BCE, but there is no record of their existence prior to 1992. They were discovered when a local spent 17 days pumping out one of the local rectangular fishing holes. The small fishing holes held much larger fish than might be expected given their area The are completely unadorned grottoes average more than 1000 square metres in area, reach depths of 30m, have thin walls between them but do not connect, and would have the excavation of nearly one substantial cubic metres of sandstone. Not known when they were built, by whom, for what purpose, nor where the excavated stone went., the of the grottoes have been drained, lit, and connected on a tour route. In the first of these mysterious ancient ex Cavations, some of the walls and support columns have now been decoratively carved.

Zhejiang Qianjiangyuan National Forest Park

The Qianjiangyuan National Forest Park is divided into five major scenic spots, namely the Water Lake, the Maple House, the source, the Zhuoma Pit and the Lianhua River. The 205 National Road runs through it.

It is located at the junction of Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangxi provinces.
