Dayu Island

Situated in the southeast sea off Fuding City, Ningde City of Fujian, Dayushan Island is a part of four tourist attractions of Taimu Mountain. The island, known for its epitome of green hills, crystal clear lakes, vast grassland and peaceful deep blue sea, is ranked as one of China’s top 10 most beautiful islands by Chinese National Geography Magazine. The island, 7.7 kilometres from east to west and 2.76 kilometres from north to south, covers an area of 21.5 square kilometers and a coastline of 31.97 kilometres. The island has 36 bays, large and small, and 20 hills of varying heights.

As the highest island in Fujian, the island reaches 541.4 metres above sea level. At 200 metres above sea level, there are two natural lakes which are about 1,000 metres apart. Fed by their springs, the lakes never run dry and their clear water is sweet. Holidaymakers can often see turtles emerge from the lake for a rest. The surrounding hill slopes are quite gentle, with occasional patches of reed plants.

The green hills, blue waters and rocks together present a charming natural picture. There are large tracts of grassland too, covering 600 hectares in total. These features give the island the name ‘Magic Island in the East China Sea’, ‘Tianshan Mountain in South China’ and ‘Sky Lake in the Sea’.

Dajing Beach

Dajing Beach is located in the southeast of Changchun Town, Xiapu County. It is known as “Fujian Hawaii” and “Mindong Beidaihe”. The beauty of Dajing Beach lies in the sand dunes that the locals call “Sharon Post”, and the sand is very delicate. On the other side of Sharon Post, there is a wind-blown shelter forest with a depth of more than 100 meters.

Chi’an scenic resort

Chian Village is located 5 kilometers northeast of Xiapu County. It was once an important seaport in ancient times. It is named after its coastal rocks are reddish.

Beiqi

Beiqi is five kilometers away from the east of Xiapu County. There are more than 200 households facing the ocean. It is a famous seaweed farm. The villagers are engaged in seafood farming and fishing in the distant seas.
The scenery of Beibei Village is picturesque, and the Xiapu Beach is beautiful. In 2012, it was listed as one of the “80 Most Beautiful Places in China” by Digital Photography magazine, and it has been recommended as one of the 22 major photography resorts. More than 200,000 domestic and foreign filmmakers have been filming the scenery of the beach every year.

Dongbi Village

Dongbi Village is surrounded by mountains and has a wide view. It is an ideal spot for sunsets. The photography spots on the east wall can not only capture the magnificent sunset, but also capture the scene of fishermen fishing nets.

Yang family river Scenic Area

Yang family river is located on the southwest side of Tailao Mountain. Yangjiaxi Scenic Area was originally named Nanyangping. According to legend, Yang Wenguang, the famous general of the Northern Song Dynasty, settled one of the 18 holes in Nanman, so the place was named after the Yang family. Yangjiaxi Scenic Area is about 35 square kilometers, consisting of Jiulixi Scenic Area, Longting Waterfall Scenic Area, Qiandawangcun District, Qinglongsi District, Yangjiaxi Village Scenic Area, Xiapingyang Village Area, Banling Pavilion Area, Dutou Village Area and Tunxi Turtle. It is composed of a mountain village area.

Arrival method: Xiapu County is 37 kilometers away from Yangjiaxi Scenic Area. You can get off at Xiapu Bus Station by taking the Yacheng City Bus to the Hongshan Bridge Scenic Spot and transfer to the scenic spot. The ticket is about 8 yuan. You can also take a taxi to the scenic spot in Xiapu County. About 40 yuan
