Xingyi City is the capital of the Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in southwest Guizhou, one of the important central cities in southwest China, and the fourth largest city in Guizhou Province.

Miao Nationality
They believe that everything in nature has a spirit, which incombination are mighty enough to control their lives. Malinghe Valley
The scenic spot of Malinghe River Gorge is 6 km from downtown of Xingyi City. It was approved a third group of National Park of China by the Central People’s Government of the People’s Republic of China in 1994; and it was authorized for the National Geopark of China by Ministry of Land and Resources of the PRC; moreover, it was promulgated as the national natural heritage by MOHURD (Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the PRC) and its planning and protection area covers 450 square kilometers.
Malinghe River originates from Baiguo Ridge that belongs to Wumeng Mountain System, it spreads nearly 100 km long to the entrance of Nanpan River, and runs through territory of Xingyi City about 74.8 km. Average depth of the whole gorge is over 100 meters, its width Is between 80 to 200 meters almost, and the deepest water reaches 280 meters.

Wanfeng Lake
Wanfeng Lake, or Thousands of Peaks Lake, derives its name from the many peaks which surround it.
The lake, located at Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture, is actually is a reservoir which was formed from the foundation of Tiansheng Bridge High Dam Power Station.
With a water storage volume of 10.2 billion cubic meters, the lake is 76 times the size of the West Lake in Hangzhou.
The 826-square-meter water surface area stretches adjacent to Guizhou, Yunan and Guangxi provinces. People of many different ethnicities have settled by the shores of the lake.
