Xinghu Lake (Star Lake) Scenic Area

This scenic area consists of Qixingyan (Seven Star Crags) and Dinghu Mountain scenic spots. It is the most famous tourist zone in Guangdong Province. The Xiannv Lake (Fairy Lake), Butterfly Valley and Qingyun Temple are the highlights of the scenic area. It Provide the most beautiful lake, mountain and forest landscape of the city.

Seven Star Crags Park

Seven rocky peaks (crags) sit here in the middle of a beautiful lake. The arrangement of the peaks resembles the Big Dipper constellation, so the crags are known as the Seven Star Crags, and the lake as Star Lake. The site is sometimes known As “little Guilin” due to its resemblance to the spectacular Guilins. There are also some temples and pagodas in the park. Located just north of downtown Zhaoqing.

Swallow Crag

Huaiji Swallow Cave Scenic Area is located in Qiaotou Town, 27 km from Huaiji County. According to statistics, there are more than 360 stone peaks and more than 170 caves with different postures in the scenic area. It is a typical karst landform. It is also the only place in China where the swiftlets live.

Arrival method: From Zhaoqing, take the shuttle bus to Huaiji Bus Station. At the exit, go to the left hand side and walk about 50 meters to have a bus terminal. Here, there is a shuttle bus to the bridgehead.

Sharon White Mother Temple

White Dragon Temple in Duanzhou District in the western suburbs of turtle mountain east, South West, Jianyu Ming Wanli fifteen years (1587). The temple is the only church, Dragon Pavilion and the part, the “eight Zhaoqing roof turtle song Yin” and “white moon” not far from the temple. Dragon Pavilion building area of 28 square meters, blue glazed tile Xieshan Ding, column inscribed ” book gives Long Zhangen the country; inscriptions parent Deze Pei Chinese” poetic couplet; the only remaining Dongxiang, an Area of 56 square meters. The temple of Zhaoqing city in 1984 was classified as heritage conservation units.

Arrival method: Land can be taken from Guangzhou Suikou Bus Terminal or Zhaoqing Duanzhou Road Bus Terminal to Deqing; the waterway is in the Dashatou Bus Terminal in Guangzhou. The waterway takes a long time, but you can visit the Xijiang River. Waterway is a good choice

Ancient City Wall

This is a part of the city wall from the Song Dynasty and is well preserved. Today, it is the symbol of Zhaoping City as a famous historical and cultural city.

Yuejianglou

A Ming Dynasty-period mansion that served as the headquarters of the Fourth Revolutionary Army, commanded by Ye Ting, in the early 20th century. Now, the Zhaoqing city museum is located in this building (or possibly a building very close by – unsure) Judging by pictures online, it seems that this museum has some interesting exhibits, but they are only described in Chinese. Fengkai National Geopark

The National Geological Park is closed with seven large mountains and eight hills.
