Day01 Arrival in Shanghai

Airport pick-up & airport-hotel transfer.

Day02 Shanghai – Beijing

Hotel-railway station transfer. A high speed train to Beijing, Railway station to hotel transfer.

Day03 Beijing

Tiananmen Square: Tiananmen (“Gate of Heavenly Peace”) The square contains the Monument to the People’s Heroes, the Great Hall of the People, the National Museum of China, and the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong.
Forbidden City: The Forbidden City served as the home of emperors and their households as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government for almost 500 years.

A la carte lunch: glutinous rice rolls with sweet bean flour stewed liver fermented bean drink

Temple of Heaven: The place for emperors holding annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest.

Kung Fu Show: Performing show of Chinese Kung Fu.

Day04 Beijing

Badaling Great Wall: the most visited section of the Great Wall, Many world leaders have made a trip to the site including Margaret Thatcher, Ronald Reagan, Mikhail Gorbachev and Richard Nixon.
Sacred Way: From the Yongle Emperor onwards, 13 Ming dynasty emperors were buried in the this area, called Thirteen Tombs of the Ming Dynasty.

Bird’s Nest (drive by): The main stadium to hold on Beijing Olympic Games in 2008.

Day05 Beijing – Xian

Summer Palace: It was an imperial garden in Qing Dynasty. In December 1998, UNESCO included the Summer Palace on its World Heritage List. It declared the Summer Palace “a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design.
A la carte lunch: Pecking Duck
Hutong visit: In Beijing, hutongs are alleys formed by lines of siheyuan, traditional courtyard residences. Many neighbourhoods were formed by joining one siheyuan to another to form a hutong.
Fly to Xian. Airport-hotel transfer.

Day06 Xian

Terracotta Warriors：A collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China.
A local family visit, Home-cooked lunch： Spending time with one local family to know more about local lifestyle and habit is also one kind of pleasure of this trip.
Xian Museum and Small Wild Goose Pagoda：one of two significant pagodas in Xi’an, Shaanxi, China, the site of the old Han and Tang capital Chang’an. The other notable pagoda is the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda.
Tang Dynasty Show with dumpling dinner:The music and performing show of ancient China, Showing the peaceful and prosperous scene of the Tang Dynast.

Day07 Xian – Chongqing

City Wall： In Xi’an, an ancient capital of China, represent one of the oldest, largest and best preserved Chinese city walls. It was built under the rule of the Hongwu Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang as a military defense system.
Fly to Chongqing.
Ciqikou if time permits：an old Chinese proverb: “One flagstone road, and one thousand years’ Ciqikou”. a thousand years after its foundation the town remains a symbol and microcosm of old Chongqing.

Yangtze River tour begins at 22:00：Taking a boat on Yangtze River and watch the beautiful night view of Chongqing. Chongqing night view is famous as little Hong kong

Day08 Chongqing – Shibaozhai

An excursion to Shibaozhai: At the top of Shibaozhai is a three-storied hall dedicated to Manjusri built during the reign of the Xianfeng Emperor (1850–1861), called the Purple Rain Pavilion. Captain’s Welcome Party: local peoples` party.

Day09 Badong – Xiling Gorge – Sandouping

Yangtze Three Gogres with an excursion to Shennong Stream:
Ship trip, enjoy beautiful view of two sides and some historic relic on the mountains.

Day10 Yichang – Shanghai

world’s largest power station in terms of installed capacity.
Disembark the cruise
Fly to Shanghai. Airport-hotel transfer.

Day11 Shanghai

Shanghai Museum: museum of ancient Chinese art, it is considered one of China’s first world-class modern museums.
Yuyuan Garden: A garden built by ancient people, and has a sense of traditional beauty.
A la carte lunch: small stuffed buns pot sticker wonton
The Bund and Huangpu River cruise: The Shanghai Bund has dozens of historical buildings, lining the Huangpu River, that once housed numerous banks and trading houses from European countries. And it is a good place to see night view and Yangtze River.
