Tag 01 Arrive in Beijing, Flight not included

Arrive in Beijing, tour guide pick up you at airport and transferred to the hotel.

Tag 02 Beijing – Lanzhou F/M

Flight to Lanzhou, pick-up by local tour guide and transfer to hotel. Lanzhou is the capital of Gansu Province in northwest China and is famous for Lanzhou noodles-Lamian. At least since the first millennium BC, the city was an important junction of the historic Silk Road and the north is also an important place to cross the Yellow River.

Tag 03 Lanzhou – Alashan Youqi F/M/A

Drive to Alxa Youqi, the last town before the great experience of the Gobi desert. Dinner at a Mongolian restaurant, and stay overnight in the hotel.

Tag 04 Alashan Youqi-Baoritaolegai F/M/A

Drive to the site of entrance of Badan Jaran Desert, then you begin the trek and hike tour to the largest freshwater lake of Baoritaolegai, where you can climb the famous singing sand dunes. Overnight in tents.

Tag 05 Baoritaolegai – Yihelihuduge F/M/A

About 7 hours hiking to the lake of Yihelihuduge. Overnight in tents.

Tag 06 – 07 Yihelihuduge – Nortu (2 Tage) F/M/A

Daily 4-5 hour hiking to the largest and most beautiful lake in Nortu Dadain Jaran. The Nortu Lake is the largest in the Badain Jarain desert with a total area of 147 hectares. Overnight in tents.

Tag 08 Nortu-Yinderitu F/M/A

Today we climb the highest peak of dunes in the world Biluthu sand (426 m). Overnight at the “Holy Lake” Yinderithu.

Tag 09 Yinderitu – Wüste Badain Jaran F/M/A

4 hours hiking up to the monastery built in 1755 of Badan Jaran. The monastery is dedicated to the Lamaist Buddhism. Sometimes the nomads visit here and perform their prayers. Stay overnight in monastery.

Tag 10 Wüste Badain Jaran F/M/A

Today is free and relaxing. Stay overnight in nomadic family, or in tents.

Tag 11 – 12 Wüste Badain Jaran F/M/A

Daily hiking of 5-6 hour. Stay overnight in tents.

Tag 13 Wüste Badain Jaran- Alashan Youqi F/M/A

Half-day driving to Alxa Youqi by SUV. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Tag 14 Alashan Youqi – Lanzhou F/M

Full day drive back to Lanzhou, Gansu province.

Tag 15 Lanzhou- Linxia – Xiahe F/M

Drive along the beautiful landscape to Xiahe (“Little Tibet”) and Labrang Monastery. Labrang Monastery is situated at 3,000 m altitude in the middle of the majestic mountain scenery. On the road we’ll pass by the Muslim residential area Linxia, which is in the region also called as “Little Mecca”.

Tag 16 Xiahe F/M

After breakfast, visit the Labrang monastery of the Gelugpa School, one of the main schools of Tibetan Buddhism.

Tag 17 Xiahe – Lanzhou – Peking F/M

Drive to Lanzhou, and flight to Beijing.

Tag 18 Beijing – Abflug F/M

Transfer to airport and departure, and our service ends.
