Trekking from Baoshan to Lugu Lake

Day 1 Lijiang

Lijiang arrival, transfer to hotel.
Overnight: Lijiang

Day 2 Lijiang – Baoshan (B, L, D)

– Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (“Natural Glacier Museum”, the nearest snow mountain to the equator in the Northern Hemisphere, the highest mountain in Yun Ling Mountain Range of the Heng Duan Mountain System, and its elevation is 5,596 meters, where it is covered by snow all year round. )
– Guolu Naxi village
– Baoshan Stone Town (the original habitat of the Naxi Ethnic Group, located about 110 km north of Lijiang. It comprises of more than one hundred families on the top of a gigantic rock. This town was built in the late 13th century (Yuan Dynasty).)

Day 3 Lugu Lake – Lijiazui (B, L, D)

– Prince Hill
– Liuqing Village

Day 4 Liuqing – Fenglian ( B, L, D)

– the Yangtze River (the third longest river in the world, but the longest river within a single country, the most interesting river in the world, with a wide variety of tourist attractions, scenery, and culture along its length.)

Day 5 Fenglian – Gewa (B, L, D)

– Labo Mosuo Village
– Gewa Village

Day 6 Gewa – Zhuangzi (B, L, D)

– Zhuangzi Village ( a Pumi village.)

Day 7 Zhuangzi – Lugu Lake (B, L, D)

– Yongning Town (an important town of the Ancient Tea-Horse Trade Caravan from Yunnan to Tibet.)
– Lugu Lake (a high mountain plateau lake, one of the most spectacular of all China’s natural spots and is remarkably well preserved and maintained.)

Day 8 Lugu Lake – Lijiang (B, L)

– Lugu Lake (a high mountain plateau lake, one of the most spectacular of all China’s natural spots and is remarkably well preserved and maintained.)
– the Mosuo people (the ‘Kingdom of Women’, one of the world’s last matriarchal societies. It is a traditional community with unique family behaviors, where the female is the head of the household.)

Day 9 Depart Lijiang (B)

End the journey.
