Introduction of Maya Snow Mountain

Maya Snow Mountain is called A’nigazhuo in Tibetan, located in the western Tianzhu County in Wuwei City, Gansu Province, 35 kilometers away from the western Tianzhu County. Average annual temperature is -6.5 degrees Celsius, and the direction is northwest – southeast, about 45 km from east to west and about 10 km north to south. Local people call it Mount Baigada. The main peak, Baigada, is called Lunbushize in Tibetan, which means the highest Sumeru, 4447 m above sea level.

Climate Condition of Maya Snow Mountain

There is almost rain and snow every day, usually more raining between 2 PM and 4 PM in the afternoon.

Travelling Route to Maya Snow Mountain

Climb directly upwards along the ladder. After reaching the end of the ladder, climbers can turn right and meet main peak by passing through 2 valleys.

Climbing Route

Two ways to climb Maya Snow Mountain:

1:  Tourists arrive at Tanshanling at first day, and accommodate at Tianchi Hotel. On second day, tourists get up at 3 am in the morning, take a bus to down the mountain and begin rushing to the summit. Round trip is about 12 hours.

2:  Tourists arrive at the foot of the mouantain and stay at 3900 camp site at first day. On second day, tourists get up at 5 AM in the morning and begin to climb to the summit, and then return back.
