Day 1 Lijiang Arrival

Lijiang arrival, transfer to hotel.

Day 2 Lijiang

-Yuhu Village ( unique stone houses, Naxi ladies dressing in traditional clothes, kids playing, a tranquil Yuhu Lake…)
-the Former Residence of Joseph Rock ( the house of Joseph Rock. The man made the word “Shangrila” a international popular symbol of paradise. )
-Baisha village ( Baisha Mural Paintings )
-Shuhe Ancient Town ( one of the earliest settlements of Naxi people as well as the well-preserved stop of the Ancient Tea Horse Route. )
-Dongba Culture Museum ( where more than 10,000 Dongba cultural relics show mysterious Dongba culture of the Naxi people )
-Black Dragon Pool Park ( enjoy gorgeous view and peaceful surroundings there )

Day 3 Lijiang

-the First Bend of Yangtze River ( an extraordinary turn nearly about 180 degrees with beautiful and marvelous views like a wonderful landscape painting unfolding before you )
-Tiger Leaping Gorge ( one of the deepest and most spectacular river canyons in the world )

Day 4 Lijiang – Dali

-Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Monastery ( the landmark of Dali with a history of over 1800 years located at the foot of Cangshan Mountain facing to the Erhai Lake. )
-Erhai Lake ( enjoy the green Cangshan Mountain and Three Pagodas from afar as well as lots of birds and seagulls flying over the lake.)
-Dali Old Town ( it has a history of more than 1200 years. In the town, you’ll enjoy the City Wall, Gate-towers, elegant streets, small and exquisite courtyards, colorful flowers blooming in the sunshine. )

Day 5 Dali & Flight to Kunming

-Western Hills ( looking like a beautiful young lady lying beside Dianchi Lake. )
-Dragon Gate ( There is a saying: If you do not visit Western Hill, you haven’t visited Kunming; if you do not come to Dragon Gate, you haven’t been to Western Hills.)
-Flowers & Birds Market (most attractive shopping market where spring reigns all year )

Day 6 Kunming

– Stone Forest (the most unique karst landform in the world which has been UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of South China Karst.)
– Minority village of Sani People (Admire their colorful minority costumes and exotic tradition culture.)

Day 7 Kunming & Kunming – Kaili – Guizhou

– Kaili (the capital of Southeast Guizhou which is well known for Miao ethnic group.)
– Matang Village (see Gejia group who are not listed into 55 minority groups in China just because of their small population. Appreciate the traditional Gejia batik in the village, and learn the art of batik.)

Day 8 Kaili

– Kaili Ethnic Minority Museum (Get a general idea of the Miao and the Dong in this region.)
– Qingman Miao Village (See the women wear a kind of traditional short-skirt, the traditional way of dying cotton material.)
– Shiqiao Miao Village (see the old people still keep their old tradition of making special paper with trees’ bark by hand, which could be dated back to 700 years in Guizhou.)

Day 9 Kaili – Xijiang

– Jidao Miao Village (Remains original and tranquil with idyllic surroundings. Explore Old Geomantic Trees, time-horned granaries, the Cave of the Immortal, the Footprints of buffalos and Horses.)
– Upper Langde Miao Village (Drink “block-the-way” rice wine, visit the traditional Miao-style stilt houses enjoy sweet Miao folk songs.)
– Datang Miao Village ( another branch of Miao live for hundreds years, it is special for the unique “miniskirts”, as short as 10 centimeters, that the local women wear all year round.)

Day 10 Xijiang – Guiyang Departure

– Xijiang Miao Village (the largest Miao village in Asia, with more than 1000 Miao households.)
