Sichuan and Yangtze

Day 01 Chengdu D

Arrive in Chengdu, transfer to the hotel. Try famous Sichuan cuisine as dinner.

Day 02 Chengdu B/L

In the morning go to Chengdu Panda Base (Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding) for visiting and/or volunteer work. It’s popular among the Panda fans. During volunteer work, you can help to feeding pandas, cleaning panda’s enclosure, their rubbish, wash bamboo etc. it’s a very good chance to observe and learn giant panda’s habit.

Day 03 Chengdu-Leshan-Emeishan B/L

In the morning drive to famous Mt. Emeishan via Leshan. You can visit the world largest sitting Buddha statue in Leshan which was built in Tang dynasty. And the two places together are on the list of the World Heritage.

Day 04 Emeishan-Dazu B/L

In the morning visit on Mt. Emeishan, which is one of the Middle Kingdom’s four famous Buddhist Mountains in China. After that drive to Dazu (belongs to Chongqing city) county in the afternoon.

Day 05 Dazu-Chongqing B/L

Visit the grotto art at Dazu County which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Scattered over roughly 40 sites are thousands of cliff carvings and statues (with Buddhist, Taoist and Confucian influences), dating from the Tang dynasty to the Song dynasty. Then drive to Chongqing city and enjoy the picturesque landscape along the road. On board of Yangtse Cruise after arrival in Chongqing in the night.

Day 06 – 07 Yangtze Cruise B/L/D

Enjoy the Yangtze cruise, via the sightseeing of the Ghost City-Fengdu, Little Three Gorge etc.

Day 08 Yichang-Shanghai B/L

Flight from Yichang to Shanghai.

Day 09 Shanghai B/L

Day trip of:
Yuyuan Garden: it features a traditional Chinese park with its shaded alcoves, glittering pools churning with carp, pavilions, bridges, and pines sprouting wistfully from rockeries.
Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall: The exhibition hall shows Shanghai’s urban planning and development.
Children’s Palace: The Shanghai Children’s Palace provides many kinds of training after school for children.

Day 10 Shanghai – Suzhou B/L

Today we make a day trip to the nearby garden city of Suzhou, Jiangsu province. Suzhou’s main draw is its gardens. The main activity is to visit the Garden to Linger In (Liu Yuan), the Humble Administrator’s Garden (Zhuozhengyuan), and the Garden of the Master of the Nets (Wangshi Yuan). Also experience of the Boat Trip in Suzhou’s river.

Day 11 Shanghai B

Free time in Shanghai today.

Day 12 Depature from Shanghai B

Transfer from hotel to airport and departure.
