Summary:

In midsummer, Yushu grassland has green grass, blooming flowers, fat cattle and strong horse. In such a golden season, the entire Yushu area will carry out sports activities with different scale, such as horse racing . The largest scale of sports activities is the statewide traditional horse racing festival for a week, which was held in Yushu County. Enjoy the horse racing festival and rich cultural connotation of Kangba Tibetan of Yushu Prefecture, Qinghai Province as well as Qinghai’s Yaqing Temple and Wuming Buddhist College and many other Tibetan cultural elements.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Xining (July 22nd.)

Xining arrival, transfer to hotel.
Overnight: Xining

Day 2: Xining – (510km) – Madoi (Maduo County)

Activities: After breakfast, drive by Gonghe County and Xinghai County to Madoi (Maduo County).
Photography: Rape flower field and free shoot the plateau scenery.
Overnight: Madoi (Maduo County)

Day 3: Maddo – (370km) – Yushu (July 24th.)

Activities: Get up early to drive to Yushu.
Photography: Shoot lakes of plateau and plateau scenery along the way.

Day 4: Yushu (July 25th.)

Activities: Shoot Yushu’s Horse Racing Festival all day.

Day 5: Yushu – (150km) – Shiqu(Sêrxü County)

Activities: After breakfast, travel to Shiqu(Sêrxü County) to shoot Sershul Monastery, Bage Mani Wall, and Shiqu Grassland.

Day 6: Shiqu(Sêrxü County) – (340km) – Garze (Ganzi)

Activities: Get up early to Garze (Ganzi), shoot Axu (Ngaxu) Grassland along the way.

Overnight: Garze (Ganzi)

Day 7: Garze (Ganzi) – (120km) – Yaqing Temple

Activities: Get up early to shoot, and then drive to Yaqing Temple.
Shooting contents: Panorama of Yaqing Temple and Tibetan culture.
Overnight: Yaqing Temple

Day 8: Yaqing Temple – (280km) – Sertar County

Activities: Get up early to shoot, and then drive to Sertar County.
Photography: Free shoot along the way, Wuming Buddhist College of Sertar County.
Overnight: Sertar County

Day 9: Sertar County – (330km) – Tagong

Activities: Get up early to shoot sunrise of Wuming Buddhist College of Sertar County , and then go to Tagong Grassland.

Day 10: Tagong – (440km) – Chengdu
