Menyuan Rape Flower, Zhangye and Badain Jaran Desert

Xining – Menyuan County – Alxa Right Banner – Badain Jaran Desert – Zhangye – Pingshanhu Grand Canyon – Zhangye – Qilian County – Xining

Summary:

In annual mid-July, Rape flowers is blooming in Qinghai Lake and Menyuan County with nearly three thousand meters above sea level, where yellow flowers look like golden in the plateau under the dark blue sky, embodies in the blue shore of the Qinghai Lake without bounder. And Zhangye shows a soft side of northwest land. Also, there are Kanbula National Forest Park and desert scenery.

Itinerary

Day 1: Xining

Xining arrival, transfer to hotel.
Overnight: Xining

Day 2: Xining – (160km) – Menyuan County

Activities: Get up early to go to Qingshizui Townshi, Menyuan County to shoot acres of rape and sunset.

Overnight: Menyuan County

Day 3: Menyuan County – (320km) – Alxa Right Banner

Activities: Get up early to clamp to mountain to shoot sunrise o and panoramic view of f acres of rape, and then drive to Alxa Right Banner

Overnight: Alxa Right Banner

Day 4: Alxa Right Banner – (90km) – Badain Jaran Desert

Activities: Get up early to drive to the Badain Jaran Desert, and then enter into the desert to shoot.

Overnight: Badain Jaran Desert

Day 5: Badain Jaran Desert – (150km) – Zhangye

Activities: Get up early to light and shadow of Badain Jaran Desert, reflection of lake sand and sand mountain.
Photography: Light and shadow of desert and reflection of lake sand and sand mountain.
Overnight: Zhangye

Day 6: Zhangye – (60km) – Pingshanhu Grand Canyon – (60km) – Zhangye

Activities: Get up early to go to scenic spots of Zhangye to shoot, and have lunch in the scenic spots. In the afternoon, drive to Pingshanhu Grand Canyon to shoot, and return back after sunset.

Day 7: Zhangye – (250km) – Qilian County

Activities: Get up early to drive by the Sunan Yugur Autonomous County to Qilian.

Overnight: Qilian County

Day 8: Qilian County – (540km) – Xining

Activities: Get up early into the Niuxinshan Scenic Area to shoot sunrise, and at 10:00 ride back to Xining. After the arrival of the group, finish the happy photography tour.
